Four different Husqvarna Viking sewing and embroidery machines have been named "BEST BUYS" by Consumer's Digest. The Husqvarna Viking Sapphire 835 and 855 sewing machines were recognized in the computerized sewing machine category while the Husqvarna Viking Designer Topaz 20 and 30 were selected in the sewing and embroidery group.
Consumer's Digest rated the four Husqvarna Viking models based on the features they offer, how easy they are to use and their warranties. The magazine noted that the Sapphire 835 is the only machine at its price point to automatically select the optimal stitch and sewing speed based on fabric type. Consumer's Digest also recognized the Designer Topaz 30 for providing consumers with the largest embroidery area of all machines tested as well as one of the largest work areas in the category.
